I like this photo because it just looks cool. It reminds me a little bit of the Cadburys chocolate advert and how they pour the milk.

I could improve this photo by making it less grainy and also getting the original photo in focus but I don't think you can tell that it was out of focus from this photo.

Technical aspects of this photo would be the editing, what i did with the editing was mainly cropped out the un-needed parts of the photo and then rotated the photo 90 degrees clockwise so it looks like I am pouring it out.

Aesthetic sides of this photo would be the links it has to my artists and the colour that i added to the water before taking the photo.

The function of this photo was to see the sort of gravity/splash on water, to see the effect it gives.

This is one of my experiments with trying o get the colour of he water stronger and throwing it but I sort of got this which links to my artist with the colour aspect. I like this photo because it of the way the water runs down the side of the plastic cup and drips of as such. I didn't do a lot of editing on it, what i did was first cropped the photo to get rid of unnecessary parts, then I used the fix lens in the smart filter on Photoshop which zoomed he photo in a bit hen i just use the sharpen aspect to tr and make it a bit more in focus.

Here is another one of Shinichi Maruyama's photos but from a different set of photos. I think he has done it by dropping oil into water. I chose to analyse this photo now because it shows the difference in viscosity again which is very interesting to me. Looking at this makes me think it was a bit more colourful then it could link with my work.

Here is my second experiment which also didn't go to well but his time was mainly because i couldn't capture it with my camera. Next time I will try filming it and taking stop frames from that as my photos instead.Hopefully that will work.

Here my first experiment which didn't go right for an amount or reasons. the main ones were things such as it'so dull, glass with water and a white background . Nothing stands nor does it link to my artists which are all colourful and vibrant and have stand out features in them. Another reason this experiment failed was because of how i couldn't capture the splash and even if I did in the top photo, my hand was in the way and couldn't get out of he photo fast enough. Where as in he bottom photo i dropped something in the water and I couldn't capture the splash because my camera wasn't fast enough.

Here is one Shinichi Maruyama's 'Garden' photos. I selected his one because it shows two different fluids with different viscosity's. It shows how they form different shapes while under the influence of gravity. The water shows a sort of lighter way of being in mid air where as the paint that has been thrown is more of a sculpture he seems o stay together bu bends and seems to curve a bit more naturally than the water, which makes it have more of an interest attached to it. Although the water has a more of an aesthetic taste with how its transparency reflects the colour behind it, also it has more of a sort of rigid display which seems to interests me also.

This here is Shinichi Maruyama doing his water sculpture movie. This shows how he did his water sculpting idea. I find it inspirational because of the shapes that the water takes when in mid air.

This here is my first inspiration of my exam prep. The theme was 'Force' and it was difficult till I saw this. Non Newtonian fluids which are liquid normally but solid under the force of the bass.
